Maintenance Assistant Wanted for Huntsville Town

Our maintenance department needs an extra set of hands! Huntsville Town is seeking a committed, part-time, hard-working employee that will provide reliable maintenance for the Town. The position is a Maintenance Assistant. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in waterline maintenance for both culinary and secondary systems, installation of meters and some water line repairs.
- Road maintenance, pothole repair, sign maintenance, tree trimming, bathroom and parks maintenance.
- May include small engine repair.
- General maintenance for Town Buildings, assist with green waste landfill, some mowing and town maintenance for side road landscaped areas.
- Coordinate and work with the maintenance supervisor.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Job experience preferred.
- Water experience preferred.
Applicants must have the ability to work with a supervisor and be willing to communicate regularly and often with office staff. Attendance is an essential function of these positions. Candidates must be able to flex their personal schedule respond to “on call” work hours.
An Ogden Valley Resident is preferred. Hours listed are part-time, up to 29 hours per week without benefits. Pay is based on the experience of the candidates.
