Community-wide Adopt-a-Hydrant program
5/18/2026
Huntsville Residents and Friends,
As part of our America 250 celebration, the Town of Huntsville is excited to launch a community-wide Adopt-a-Hydrant program, and we would love your help.
Residents throughout Ogden Valley are invited to adopt and paint a Huntsville fire hydrant with a patriotic Americana design using traditional red, white, and blue colors. Families, youth groups, scout troops, businesses, artists, students, churches, and community groups are all encouraged to participate.
The Town will provide approved paint and basic supplies through a community checkout system at Huntsville Town Hall.

Program Timeline:
• Program Kickoff & Registration: May 2026
• Painting Period: June 1 – June 30, 2026
• Judging: July 2, 2026
• Awards Presentation: July 4, 2026 during the patriotic celebration program
Contest categories may include:
